Hello everybody.

My name is Paul.
I use a Celestron C9.25 on a G11- G1 from home. But when I go into the wilds of the Peak District near my home. I use a IOptron MT II.
I also use a Altair Astro, Starwave EDT 115. These are my two primary, instruments for visual observing.

I have a small collection of eyepieces, by Televue, Celestron, Vixen and, Baader Planetarium. I hope to add to this collection, when funds allow.

Living in the UK. You have to wonder why, we take up this hobby. The Winter here has been wet, and cloudy. But now that Spring has arrived, with Daylight saving. The weather is improving.

This week-end. I am hoping to get out. And look at some Galaxies, from my local (Rural) observing site, using the refractor.

With lady luck. I might have a observing report to post.

Welcome to the forum Paul, good to have you. Look forward to reading about your observations.

I live in western Oregon, which has a cloudy and wet climate like the UK for most of the year, and sometimes it does seem a bit nutty that observational astronomy is my hobby. I guess we just appreciate the clear nights even more this way.
