I am an avid user of SkyTools 3. I love to be able to create observing lists customized to my current observing conditions and equipment, which SkyTools does well.

What I would like to do is take an observing list that is in text format or Excell format and convert it to SkyTools format. I have not been able to do this nor been able to find any information on the web detailing how to do this, if it is even possible. I couldn't even find any help on the SkyTools forum.

Anybody know how to do this or tell me it isn't possible?

Thanks

Jim L.

It's possible, but well hidden.

- In the Nightly Planner, click on the down arrow to the left of "Observing List" to open the observing list menu.
- Select "Read Objects from File". That will open a dialog box to import your data.

Not sure if you got my reply. Thanks for tweaking my memory. I know I did it before. Now I'll remember.
