Dear all,
I just heard about this forum on CN where Alvin Huey's "2012 Objects of the Week" was promoted. This article came right in time as I just finished my new 24" Dobson.
Here is a presentation in Dutch which I held in October 2012 at our local astronomy club. The presentation has lots of pictures of how the Dobson is build:

I live in an area in the Netherlands with much light pollution. So an important design factor is that the Dobson must be easy to transport to dark sites.
I hope I can learn a lot from you guys with those enormous Dobsons, which I admired for such long times and wondered if I ever could possess on myself.
