Found this cool webpage today and thought I'd share it with you all. Its a list containing about ~70 blazars, AGN's and quasars (so basically the same type of object) that are visible in many amateur telescopes. These aren't so much showpiece items as they for the mind.

I'll also add this list to the UDSOR.

Since you brought up a great Blazar/Quasar/AGN list, I also want to mention Wolfgang Steinicke's "Catalogue of Bright Quasars and BL Lacertae Objects" -- 454 objects down to mag 16.5. Enough to keep anyone busy for quite awhile!

The printed version had finder charts for the the brighter objects, but the list and relevant data is still available at http://www.klima-luft.de/steinicke/index_e.htm (scroll down to the bottom of the page).
