Hi All,

Just thought I'd stop by here to give an endorsement for this excellent product, but first up in the interests of full disclosure you should note that the developer and owner, Serge Antonov have been friends and observing buddies for about 15 years. I have also played a very small role in its development mainly in the form of advice as to functionality and the catalogues.

That out of the way, I can recommend these DSC to anyone interested. Very wide range of catalogues available to peruse that includes much more information on individual objects than other DSC, easy to read display and a rechargeable internal battery that lasts for about 15-20 hours of observing in reasonable temperatures. The pricing is also extremely competitive compared to other DSC and the after sales service is excellent. You should also note that Serge isn't merely a wiz with electronics and software, but is a very experienced observer with an acute appreciation of what does and doesn't work well under field conditions.

Great piece of kit, I suggest you check it out and take note in particular of the price compared to the competition.

Best,

Les D
