OOps, I posted it as the wrong NGC. It's NGC 936 in Cetus and not NGC 2336 in Cam. In some photos 936's central core and bar look a little like an Empire star fighter of the dark lord Vader. The photos I saw don't really show spiral arms real well, but do show a likeness to a Star Wars Empire fighter craft. But I saw faint spiral arm structure all around 936 with bright nucleus and elongated core area. Maybe the eye can sometimes see things that AP doesn't show as well.

Visited the galaxy last new moon. Very cool object with a nice galaxy group to the east, dominant bar with ears at its end and a large not so difficult halo around the bar. Nice, thanks for the tip.
