NGC 936 Darth Vader Galaxy
OOps, I posted it as the wrong NGC. It's NGC 936 in Cetus and not NGC 2336 in Cam. In some photos 936's central core and bar look a little like an Empire star fighter of the dark lord Vader. The photos I saw don't really show spiral arms real well, but do show a likeness to a Star Wars Empire fighter craft. But I saw faint spiral arm structure all around 936 with bright nucleus and elongated core area. Maybe the eye can sometimes see things that AP doesn't show as well.

I corrected the thread title based on your follow-up post.
Thanks Mark.
Visited the galaxy last new moon. Very cool object with a nice galaxy group to the east, dominant bar with ears at its end and a large not so difficult halo around the bar. Nice, thanks for the tip.
