Abell 2022 -- little-known galaxy cluster in Bootes

Three nights ago was just the second time out with my 24" f/3.7 Starstructure (first light was 2 nights earlier!) and I thought I'd go after an Abell cluster I hadn't seen before. AGC 2022 has a nice clump of galaxies surrounding CGCG 165-006. A half-dozen were picked up in a 5' string (four are within just 2.8') and a total of 10 were logged. This is a nice challenge for 16" and larger scopes if you're looking for new targets. The V magnitudes below are estimated using green and red SDSS magnitudes.

CGCG 165-005 = MCG +05-36-001 = PGC 53780

V = 14.8; Size 0.5'x0.4'; PA = 6d
very faint, very small, round, 12". Located in the core of AGC 2022 on the northwest end of a clump of 6 galaxies (5 in a NW-SE string). The closest neighbor is PGC 1837832 1.0' SE.

extremely faint and small, round, 6"-8" diameter. Located in the clump of galaxies in the core of AGC 2022, 1.3' NW of CGCG 165-006. CGCG 165-005 lies 1.0' NW

V = 14.8; Size 0.5'x0.4'; PA = 157d
very faint, extremely small, round, 8"-10" diameter. A mag 13 star is 27" NW. Located at the north end of AGC 2022 with PGC 1839290 (identified as CGCG 165-7 in Megastar) 3.6' ESE.

V = 14.4; Size 0.9'x0.7'; PA = 103d
this is a giant elliptical at the center of AGC 2022 with a number of slightly fainter galaxies swarming in the vicinity. At 322x it appeared faint, small, round, 24" diameter, small brighter core. Forms a contact pair with 2MASX J15041797+2829430 (not in LEDA) off the east side, 26" between centers.

V = 15.8; Size 0.4'x0.3'
very faint, very small, round, 12" diameter. Forms a contact pair on the east side of with CGCG 165-006, the dominant galaxy in the core of AGC 2022. PGC 1837813 lies 44" N.

V = 15.6; Size 0.4'x0.3'
extremely faint and small, round, 8" diameter. Situated 48" NE of CGCG 165-006 in the center of AGC 2022. Appears slightly brighter than PGC 1837832, which is 1.7' W.

very faint, very small, elongated 3:2 SW-NE, 18"x12". Located in the core of AGC 2022, 2.7' SE of brightest member CGCG 165-006.

V = 15.4; Size 0.6'x0.4'; PA = 113d
very faint, very small, slightly elongated, low surface brightness, 20"x15". Member of AGC 2022 and situated on the south side, 6.5' SSE of CGCG 165-006 and 2' S of a mag 10.8 star.

V = 15.4; Size 0.5'x0.3'; PA = 122d
extremely faint, very small, round, 12" diameter. Located at the north end of AGC 2022 with CGCG 165-007 3.6' WNW. This galaxy is identified as CGCG 165-007 in Megastar and as MCG +05-36-003 in NED.
