UGC 11260. Is a foreground star super-imposed?

Last night I was observing deep sky objects in Lyra with a 13.1 inch reflector. I noticed that UGC 11260, a barred spiral galaxy had unusually high surface brightness, to the point that it was visible with direct vision at 314x. It's listed as magnitude 15.5 galaxy in the Zwicky catalogue, but no mention is made of a star super-imposed. This could be because the star is close to the apparent position of the galaxy nucleus making it nearly impossible to notice on a photographic plate. The Skymap site does plot a 13.3 magnitude star very close to the galaxy's coordinates, which leads me to believe I was observing the star, or a combination of the star and the galaxy, rather than just the galaxy.

Does anyone have observing notes about this galaxy that could help solve the issue of whether a star is coincident with this galaxy? Thanks!
