    Likely Place, California

Has anyone observed from the Likely Place RV resort (http://www.likelyplace.com/) in northern California? I'm thinking of heading down there for a few nights this month if the weather improves but I'd like to know about more first hand experiences. I've talked to Tony Hallas and read his article in the April Astronomy magazine, which make Likely Place sound pretty awesome. I'm mostly curious about nearby lights and if it's possible to leave a large scope set up in the same spot for several days.

I have not observed from there but it is located just over the east mountain range from GSSP - about 30-40 air miles. I can imagine that the skies would be comparable to GSSP.
    Clear skies,
