    WBL 258

Here is a sketch of the WBL 258 galaxy group, usually identified as the NGC 3158 Galaxy Group. I was able to identify eleven galaxies in the field, but I may have seen the image of a twelfth, MCG+07-21-27, which I plotted as a faint star immediately east of NGC 3158. Along with the sketch, I am attaching a DSS image of the field with the individual galaxies identified. It’s been kind of quiet on the Forum recently, so I’ve uploaded several albums of sketches that I have made over the last couple of years. To access them, just click on my avatar and select “Albums”. The recently added additions are titled: “Selected Messier objects”, “Multi-galaxy fields”, “Highly inclined and edge-on galaxies” and “Planetary nebulae”.
