I don't know exactly where Ronald had the term "TIE Fighter Galaxy", but it easily could be the idea came from Sue and he collected all the known and more or less common names which he later published in the isDSG.
With the 16-inch the shape of the "TIE Fighter" was barely visible with hints of the fainter outer regions.
