I am still here but not very active. We've had an appalling summer, with endless clouds and rain (the UK has a dodgy reputation in that respect but isn't really that bad, depending on where you are - apart from this year) and my scope has not been out since May 22nd. I attempted an observing session a few nights ago but fog and insane amounts of dew curtailed that session.
I'm hoping things improve as we go into autumn. My scope will also have a new home, a large 12x8ft wooden summerhouse-type shed (although I am not allowed to cut the roof off!) instead of the plastic 8x6ft shed it has been in for the past year, once I have finished de-cluttering, de-spidering and cleaning the place.
I need to wash the scope mirror, though, and am doing a kind of war dance round it...
