    New supernova in M61

    Not exactly ideally placed this time of year, but M61 is offering us a new SN. If you're out obseving in the pre-dawn sky, give it a go!

    The last dark hours here are in poor transparency and M61 only gets to 17 deg. Pity; a SN this bright would look pretty nice at the end of that enhancement in the arm.
