    NGC 7026

Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable so I would appreciate hints tips and criticism my sketch of NGC 7026.
I did notice I failed to include the view finder stars.
The 16mm is Explore Scientific and the 9&6mm are Orion Expanse.
    Thank you for your time
    Mark.

I remember the first few times I failed to see it, I was using too low magnification.

Use a paper stump to smooth out the nebulosity. This is easier when the sketch is larger. Rounder stars, and you are good.

    Hi Mark,

sharper pencil, higher magnification and just like said - smoothen the nebulosity - severeal ways to do that. First way is not to press too strong with the pencil. rubbing out scratched lines is very difficult. Hold the pencil in a very small angle to the paper - by that you avoid scratches in nebulous parts. In case of this very object also more magnification helps - up to 400 with 12". But it is remarkabele that u already noticed the line between the two shells at 250x.

Very nice choice of object btw!
