Amateur Astronomy...A Hobby made for Everyone

    Dear Astronomers,

Astronomy is made for everyone, it marks the ages and dawn of time, it has no boundaries beyond our own or from our own earthly confines. Man, woman, girl or boy, old & young rich or poor, anyone from any place across our world can be apart of astronomy and the rewards and riches that space holds for you is truly amazing! Through trillions and trillions of miles of space our Universe is there for us to explore and for each of us to witness it's vastness and it's makings...All you have to do is step outside and look above to see what lies throughout the stars!

Scientist and researchers can discuss and debate over origins and various aspects of objects in space or you can read and look at what is written in blogs or user groups or look at the amazing photos and descriptions from many resources and other amateurs to find everything that can be written about our universe and our hobby but you and I have a different agenda, one in which takes us through our front door out into the night to our back hard or driveway,to a park or city street, up into the hills away from city lights or through the mountains and lofty places where our face can touch the heavens. But it goes beyond that, it takes your willingness to be apart of astronomy away from your computer, away from websites and blogs to use your own 2 eyes or some type of gear and venture out and experience what astronomy was meant for!

Don't be daunted by equipment or the lack there of, this hobby can be expressed in many forms, ways and activities. There are subtle differences between visual users and imaging astronomers but that's only based on how they use their gear BUT they all share 1 common thread they all GO OUT and USE IT! The majority of astronomers use one telescope type or another or one form of mount platform or guiding mechanism and many different accessory types which are the the nuts and bolts of amateur astronomy gear. ON our facebook page we list different articles about pieces and parts and gear to help amatuers understand what to use...the easier it becomes the more you want to use them and that's the whole idea!

However you enjoy and pursue this hobby throughout the year in different climates and seasons don't waste a single night that the sky will afford you and what astronomy will bring to you! The treasures that make this hobby so rewarding are the experiences you gain that no price tag can be placeed or valued by how it can change your life in so many ways and the way you see the sky around you!

Astronomy is for everyone, it will stand the test of time and it's out there waiting for you...

Go out, Go see it , GO LIVE IT!!
