Exclamation One for the big guns: (new) PN in Vulpecula

    Hi all,

Those who are also on the DeepSkyHunters Yahoo group may have read about this one already. For everyone else:

In February Californian astronomer Dana Patchick discovered a planetary nebula candidate on DSS images. It is in Vulpecula, carries the preliminary designation Pa J2029.1+2311 and is nicknamed "Little Blue Fox".
I pieced together an observation guide available at http://www.clearskies.eu/webfiles/te...029.1+2311.pdf

With the summer constellations rapidly approaching and the object being in need of observations you may want to give it a try!

    Cheers,

    Victor

Thanks for letting us all know about this. I'll be sure to add it to the list.

Anyone see this guy visually yet? Any reports out there?
