    Omega Centauri (ngc 5139)

Omega Centauri is a globular cluster in Centaurus; magnitude:3.5 ;size:36.3' ; brightest and largest of all globs; best view ever on a night of good seeing, this huge star sphere is amazing in all telescopes, although not very high up in my sky, it was exceptional on this particular night, hundreds of thousands stars sparkle in and out of resolution. There are two areas that appear to be starless voids named the footprint, which was also observed. I used my 14.5 Starstructure Dob f/4.3 and a 21mm Ethos eyepiece . 75x magnification https://thestarsketcher.blogspot.com/
